Car-with-driver pricing in Yogyakarta is not shown as numbers on this website. You get a clear quote on WhatsApp once we know your route, date, and needs — plus this page on the factors that shape the rate.
Izzi Jogja Car Rental uses this model so figures do not mislead when peak season, early hours, or destinations change. How to book: via WhatsApp. Service: car rental with driver. Overview page: how pricing works.
Factors that affect the rate
1. Trip type
- Point-to-point transfer (for example YIA ↔ hotel) — usually priced per trip.
- Time-block / day trip hire (temples, beaches, Merapi) — includes waiting at destinations.
Transfers and day trips should not be compared as if they were the same “distance only”. State the type in your first message.
2. Distance and duration
The farther or longer the driver waits, the larger the time component. A Borobudur day differs from a Malioboro–Prambanan afternoon run. One focused destination is easier to quote than many distant stops.
3. Time of day
Early morning, late night, and busy airport hours often affect driver availability. Be honest about times so quotes stay realistic.
4. Vehicle type and capacity
Passengers plus luggage determine the car. Wrong capacity means discomfort and last-minute upgrades.
5. Season and availability
School holidays, long weekends, and local events raise demand. Booking earlier helps you secure a suitable slot.
6. Add-ons
Child seats, multiple drops, or long detours can affect the quote. Discuss upfront — see FAQ.
Why we do not publish numbers on the site
A “fixed” public number goes stale fast: seasons shift, hours shift, capacity shifts. It is more honest to explain factors, then send a written quote on WhatsApp for your date.
If someone promises a flat rate without asking route and time, compare carefully.
How to read a WhatsApp quote
A good quote usually states:
- date and time,
- route / destinations,
- whether waiting is included,
- vehicle type,
- what is not included (tickets, meals, Merapi jeep, etc.).
For Merapi, jeep is almost always a separate vendor — see Merapi trip. For airport: YIA transfer.
Example: why two guests may get different quotes
Guest A: YIA to hotel midday, 2 people, 1 suitcase.
Guest B: YIA pre-dawn + Prambanan stop before hotel, 5 people, heavy luggage.
Both are “from the airport”, but time load and capacity differ — different quotes are reasonable. That is why we do not stick one generic number on the website.
Tips for a fair, fast quote
- Send complete details once (date, time, points, headcount).
- Do not haggle without changing scope (fewer stops = new scope).
- Save a screenshot of the quote you accept.
- Big plan change? Chat before you roll.
What we do not do on the site
- Publish price tables as if they apply all year.
- Hide that season and hours matter.
- Force payment before you understand the quote.
Transparency = clear factors + final quote on WhatsApp.

Common questions before you travel
Why are there no prices on the website?
Rates depend on route, duration, vehicle type, season, and time (early morning / late night). Site numbers go stale and mislead. We send a concrete quote after you share details on WhatsApp.
Can I get an estimate without trip details?
A useful estimate needs date, time, pickup/destination, and passenger count. The more complete your first chat, the faster the quote.
Are there hidden fees?
The quote you accept on WhatsApp is the reference. Extra stops or hours mid-trip are discussed before any change.
Are temple or beach tickets included?
Usually not. Attraction fees are separate from car + driver hire unless you ask for bundling and it is written in the quote.
